Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By booking any travel services with Jyoti Travels (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”), you (“the Customer” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms, which govern the relationship between you and Jyoti Travels.

1. The Role of Jyoti Travels

• Agency Role: Jyoti Travels acts as an agent for third-party travel providers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and cruise lines. We do not own, manage, or operate any of these services.

• Provider Terms: All bookings are subject to the specific terms, conditions, and liability limitations of the respective travel provider (e.g., airline fare rules, hotel cancellation policies). It is the Customer’s responsibility to review these third-party terms.

2. Booking and Payment

• Accuracy of Information: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all names, dates, and details provided during the booking process match their passport or official identification exactly. Errors may result in denial of service or costly changes.

• Pricing: All prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed and full payment is received. Price changes may occur due to currency fluctuations, supplier surcharges, or regulatory changes (e.g., taxes).

• Payment: Full payment is required by the date specified on the invoice. Failure to pay on time may result in the automatic cancellation of the booking by the supplier, with potential loss of deposits or imposition of cancellation fees.

3. Cancellations, Amendments, and Refunds

• Cancellation Fees: Jyoti Travels imposes a service fee for processing any cancellation or amendment, in addition to any charges levied by the travel providers.

• Non-Refundable Items: Many services (e.g., certain airfares, non-refundable hotel rooms) are non-refundable after booking. Refunds, if applicable, are governed strictly by the terms of the individual travel providers and may take several weeks to process.

• Force Majeure: Jyoti Travels is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, airline strikes). Refunds for such events are subject entirely to the policy of the travel provider.

4. Liability Limitation

• Limited Liability: Jyoti Travels shall not be liable for any damage, loss, injury, delay, or expense caused by the act, omission, or default of any third-party travel provider or by any event of Force Majeure.

• Maximum Liability: In the event the Company is found liable, its maximum liability shall be limited to the total amount of service fees paid by the Customer to Jyoti Travels (excluding the cost of tickets/accommodations paid to third parties).

• Travel Insurance: The Company strongly recommends that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover potential losses due to cancellation, medical emergencies, or baggage loss.

5. Documentation, Visa, and Health

• Customer Responsibility: The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining and possessing all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, transit visas, health certificates, and compliance with all entry/exit requirements of the destinations.

• Advice Disclaimer: While Jyoti Travels may offer general advice on visa and health requirements, this advice is for guidance only. We do not warrant the accuracy of this information, and the Customer must verify all requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert the Country/Jurisdiction, e.g., India]. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert the relevant city, e.g., Vadodara].
